Get Smart

Our definition of a 'Smart Album' is an album with enough discernment to know that the purpose of its existence is to take orders from you and make you happy. So that's exactly how our brand new Smart Albums work. You can now turn standard, mildly intelligent albums into Smart Albums by telling them which entries to collect. To do this, go to Albums > Create Album and click on 'Make this a Smart Album' after you've entered the album's title and description. Then enter your Smart Album Tags in the text field that appears. All entries with tags that match any of your Smart Album Tags will automatically be collected by that album. This means you can sort entries into albums as you tag them.

That's definitely smarter than a tuxedo. Stay tuned for more developments in album brain functions.

We're on your trail

This one's going out to all Nokia addicts out there. Our sparky new section LifeLogger Trails displays all photos and videos piped in from action-packed Nokia phones via MMS and Lifeblog. The entries are updated in real time so they're fresh as home-baked cookies. Just click on a thumbnail to get a good view. Also, get tips on how to get Nokia Lifeblog going on your phone and PC. Let your hair down and let the mobile blogging madness get out of control! You've got company, and LifeLogger Trails is proof.

Laugh it off

Jokes are great because they make us laugh, and there's something about all those happy enzymes that make us generally nicer people. It's also been said that laughing makes us live longer (unless you laugh yourself to death). So in an attempt to bring you happiness and longevity, our latest featured tag is Jokes. Get yourself in stitches by browsing the Jokes tab under Featured Tags in your Home view or your Tags section. If you have a joke or anything funny to pitch in, just upload it into your LifeLog and tag it with the keyword 'jokes'. All types of side-splitting entries are welcome, be it blog entries, photos, videos, audio, or even bookmarks. Our robots will automatically pull it into the Featured Tags section for all to enjoy.

Blog out of the box

Blogging should not feel like a constipated full-time job (unless it is, then just meditate on the thought of your paycheck). If blogging is making you grunt (in a bad way), you may want to explore other ways to make use of your LifeLog. Here are some interesting uses for your media-ready LifeLog that could reunite you with the warm and fuzzies:

  • Introduce your original tunes to the world:

Tired of your computer's keyboard? Try some piano keys instead! Or strum some strings, bang on the drums, and sing your heart out! Anything goes – If music is your thing, then your blog is the perfect springboard to share it with the world and go from obscurity to celebrity.

Gotta hear it to believe it? Get an earful at whodovoodoo.lifelogger.com

  • Sell your stuff:

Just like the classifieds! Snap a photo of your product, add a description and some contact details, name your price, and sell, sell, sell. You can even shoot your own commercial on video or promote your product in an audio track with a catchy jingle that stays in people's heads all day. How's that for funky business?

Check out naim.lifelogger.com to get a peep at the market.

  • Display your artistic portfolio:

Share your art with the world by turning your LifeLog into your portfolio. LifeLogger's slideshow feature enables easy hands-free viewing of your masterpieces. And don't forget the videos – There's nothing to stop you from making your LifeLog a one-stop viewing theatre for your showreels. Go on, get a cocktail going with those creative juices.

Happy LifeLogging!
