What's it all about?

Seasoned LifeLoggers would have noticed we've had 2 major upgrades within a year. No, this is not because we spent our childhood obsessively dismantling and reassembling our toys. (Some of us had friends, you know?)

So what's it all about? Well, we were in a pseudo-philosophical mood one stir-crazy afternoon musing about how the Internet has given life to the lifeless and love to the loveless, about how the world can be so small (in a good way, not the bumping-into-your-ex-on-a-bad-hair-day sort of way), about how time is precious and fleeting, and about how so many things we do on the net has changed sharing and socialising as we know it. That got us thinking about how things could be even easier, closer, warmer, more compact, and just generally more. That's what we've wanted LifeLogger to be from day one, and that's what the upgrades are all about - easier logging, easier managing, easier sharing, more space, more friends, closer buddies, and loads more life. So if you think 2 major upgrades in a year seems a little neurotic, you ain't seen nothing yet.

We're certifiably upgrade-obsessed

Because that's what we're here for - to make LifeLogging an experience that just gets better! That's why we've been as unrelenting as Mom with the tweaking and sprucing since the launch of our latest beta. In the weeks that have flown past, we've brought back the good ol' sidebar favourites like Graffiti, LifePoster, and Snippets plus the indispensable Menu Bar customisations that ensure your Menu Bar features only items you find tasty. We've also added more ammo to your Power Tools, offering renewed precision for your entry dates, and easier manoeuvring of share settings in albums. Sharing is also easier now that you can share entire albums with your friends just by shooting them an email right from the comfort of your own LifeLog. Let's get loud

Our happiest recent updates have got to be the new audio feature on slideshows and the mini-makeover of our homepage to include more juicy browsing of entries and LifeLogs. The days of echoing silences are over. All you have to do is drop an audio track into an album of photos and it'll be able to play on your slideshows. You can do nifty things like record yourself gushing over your holiday adventures and subject your friends to it as they look at photos of you languishing in your 2-month state of blissful work-lessness. You can also make husky-voiced recordings as a voice over for your very own documentary. (Very Nat-Geo chic). The point is to have loads of fun with it just because you can.

Our homepage now features links to Top Rated Entries, Featured LifeLogs, and Featured Tags, because we've come to the conclusion that it's just cruel and unusual to keep all the good stuff buried. Remember, Top Rated Entries are decided by you, so rate rate rate to see the fruits of your labour showcased on our homepage. The fate of good, worthy entries are in your hands. Yeah, feel that power.
