If you've been faithfully logging on to LifeLogger, (which by the way, is always joyously packed with content fresher than convulsing fish in a 5am market) you would agree that LifeLogger's had a super hyper June so far! Sometimes my cynical side gets a little green in the face from all the good news I keep going on about. But there'll be no rest with the good news, because the LifeLogger tech goblins have been sacrificing sleep and restroom visits just to bring you new treats and features that would challenge a purple dinosaur's level of happy excitement. So green face or not, here goes:

Who needs love when you have Email Postings?

Oh yes. I heart Email Postings. Being able to email photos directly into LifeLogger has opened up so many doors! At the risk of sounding like a photo-geek, few words can describe the joy of seeing the well saturated and carefully composed contents of your flashy digital cameras proudly displayed on LifeLogger. (Don't even get me started on the effects of scanned film).

I know, I know, some of you shutterbugs may be groaning about the 15 stamps a month bit, but think of it this way: starting small always makes for a dramatic and sentimental story later on when the number grows. For those who are wondering what stamps are, they are wonderful little things that allow you to send photos via email directly into your LifeLog. The stamps allow you to send 15 photos for free every month, so get your picks ready. Be sure to use them all up by the end of each month, because it can't be accumulated.

On a more grave and utterly serious note, I'd like to stress the utmost importance of registering your email addresses with LifeLogger, because you can only email photos from your registered email account! Any other account is absolutely impossible, even if you click 'send' till your mouse cracks. Don't worry, we won't spam you! (You don't consider this newsletter spam, do you? C'mon, you're hurting my feelings!).

Here's a useful Email Postings tip: You may have noticed little signature-like advertising at the end of emails you receive, like the little 'Do you Yahoo?' bit in Yahoo mail. Sometimes those signatures may end up in your LifeLog when you email photos in, and it will look like a misplaced caption. To avoid this LifeLog abnormality, all you have to do is type

##end

at the end of your email, after you have typed your caption. See? Problem solved. The power is in your hands!

To those of you who are almost in tears because you think you can no longer send photos via MMS, drop the Kleenex, because MMS Postings is still well-loved and going as strong ever!

LifeLogger Nuggets may not be edible, but it still has the benefits of Vitamin C.

If you haven't tapped into this goldmine yet, you're really missing out! LifeLogger Nuggets is a haven full of downloadable freebies! To kick things off, we've got a bunch of really slick wallpapers to dress your desktop to the nines. And to hit home, we've got 30 carefully crafted avatars to suit your numerous alter egos. Get on over to LifeLogger Nuggets and reap the harvest! Needless to say, more goodies will be coming up in the future, and someone in the design department no longer knows the meaning of the word 'sleep'.

The LifeLogger Duty-Free Parents contest is still alive and kicking.

Yes, like all parents, this has been going on for quite a while. But that doesn't mean it's losing any steam. As you may have noticed, we recently ran the Moms Bonus, in which 5 lucky moms won new commitments to fitness with their 1-week exercise programme vouchers courtesy of Phillip Wain. Then it was finally Father's Day, so dad got a bit more attention with the Most Outstanding Dad category coming to a grand closing. We're choosing the winners right now, and I'll be the first to spill the beans once everything is confirmed. I heard there might even be some consolation goodies, but you didn't hear it from me.

You'd think it would be over after that, but it's really just the beginning of the best part! The Most Outstanding Parent grand prize category will be soaking up your ingenious entries until 30th June '05. We'll announce a shortlist of 30 finalists on 1st July and showcase it until 7th July for you to admire, envy, and wisecrack on. The photo with wisecracks from the most number of LifeLoggers will win the grand prize. (That means wisecracks are counted according to how many different people log them, not how many one person logs.) The winner will enjoy a luxurious 5-star family getaway! Remember to practice your democracy and wisecrack on the photos you love most. I may never have voted during an election, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the benefits of voting rights. Power to the people!

Alright. I've been going on for a while now. Seeing that I'm tired of hearing my own voice in my head, I'm going to stop. Thanks for reading/scanning/scrolling this far. More good news to come, so keep your cynical side distracted.

To life, love, and the LifeLogger way,
